SG Refurbishments is a trusted building and refurbishment contractor delivering high-quality renovation, maintenance and fit-out services for commercial clients.
Since 2005, we have built a strong reputation working with a wide range of clients, from major pub groups, restaurants and hotels to office spaces, retail units and landlords. We provide a complete, fully managed service for projects of all sizes, from reactive and planned maintenance to full refurbishments, fit-outs and design and build projects.
We are based in Godstone, Surrey, and we cover the whole of the South East. On the coast we go from Southampton and Portsmouth round to Brighton and Dover, and past London we go out as far as Oxford and Colchester.

The trades we cover
Bathrooms — Washrooms, toilets and staff bathrooms, with the pipework and the falls done properly before anything is tiled.
Carpentry and joinery — First and second fix, partitions, doors, bar joinery and fitted furniture, made to fit the space.
Decorating — Painting and decorating, inside and out, done out of hours where the building stays in use.
Extensions — New space on commercial buildings, from the drawings and building control through to handover.
Fencing — Boundary fencing and gates.
Heating — Heating systems and boilers. The certificate for any gas work comes from the registered engineer who carried it out.
Kitchens — Trade kitchens, staff kitchens and tea points, with the services behind them.
Plumbing — Pipework, washrooms, leaks and repairs, booked in the right order around the rest of the work.
Roofing — Flat and pitched roofs, repairs and re-roofs, gutters and leadwork.
We also cover windows and doors in uPVC and aluminium, flooring, electrical work including CCTV and alarms, air conditioning and refrigeration, drainage and surfacing, scaffold hire and access equipment, and waste removal and clearance.

Pre-qualification, ready when you need it
We keep a full pre-qualification pack ready for new clients. We carry a full set of insurance across several policies, with over £20 million of cover between them, and the pack includes the certificate for each one. Every job also comes with its own method statement and risk assessment.

Q.01What commercial work do SG Refurbishments take on?
Pub, bar and restaurant fit-out is our speciality. Alongside it we work in offices, shops, schools, healthcare buildings and housing, from reactive maintenance to full refurbishment.
Q.02Can you work in premises that are still trading?
Yes. Much of our commercial work is in occupied premises, with night and early-morning shifts where they are needed. Where part of a site can stay open, we price it both ways, so you can see what keeping it open costs.

As a written schedule, element by element, so you can see what each part costs and check it against your own numbers.
