    The two sides of the firm keep two different patches. Commercial work travels. The full South East of England — London, Kent, Essex, Sussex and down to the coast. On contract work distance is not the deciding factor — the programme is.

    Domestic work is the opposite, on purpose: within about ten miles of the office and no further. Caterham, Oxted, Redhill, Reigate, Warlingham, Whyteleafe and the towns between — close enough that we can be back the same week after handover.
